While up in Unst the other day I swung along the Viking Longhouse which is currently being constructed up there. I got to have a chat with the guys building it and took a few pictures to document their progress.

For the Shetland Craft Fair 2011 I decided it was important to try and create a brand identity for my work. From the stickers which I put on the reverse of all my mounted photos, to my postcards and fridge magnets, this image portrays my style perfectly.

On Saturday morning (19/11/2011) I headed into Lerwick to see how the construction of Mareel was coming on. The light wasn't great for taking photos, but I stuck with it, and here are the results!

With the sun shining and only a gentle breeze it was the perfect day to head out with my camera and take a few snaps. As I work in Tingwall I decided to head down the road to Scalloway and take a few pictures of the castle.

This past weekend (11-13 November) saw the Shetland Craft Fair 2011 being held in the Clickimin Centre. I was there with "Da Peerie Nook Gallery", which was formed specially for the event to give young Shetland artists a platform to display their work.

I will be displaying a large array of my photography at the Shetland Craft Fair 2011 which is being held at the Clickimin Centre from 11-13 November. Come along and pick up the perfect gift for Christmas!
