Shetland Craft Fair 2011 - Looking Back

15th November 2011
Well this past weekend was the Shetland Craft Fair 2011, and by all accounts it was one of the best events held to date. It was my first year there as an exhibitor, and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Getting there may have taken an awful lot of hard work behind the scenes, but ultimately the event was very enjoyable and well worth it. Our stand looked great, and the artwork from Amy Irvine, Christina Gail Inkster and Claire Laurenson worked well alongside my photography.

I got the chance to meet some great people, who all made me feel most welcome. Special thanks has to go out to Wendy Inkster who was supportive throughout, right from the first time I contacted Shetland Arts & Crafts, during the hectic weekend of the Craft Fair, and afterwards as we cleared up and packed everything away. She played a huge part in the success of the event, and I would like to congratulate her on behalf of everyone involved with "Da Peerie Nook Gallery".
